Here at Fuel Nutrition healthy eating isn’t about strict nutrition, starving to be thin or depriving yourself of the foods you love. It’s about feeling great, having more energy, and keeping yourself as healthy as possible, all of which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and using them in a way that works for you. This also means keeping an open mind about some of the habits you may have developed over time with respect to eating patterns. Our culture has socialized us into patterns that don’t best fuel our metabolism. Consuming frequent, high protein meals throughout the day will kickstart your metabolism, keep your hunger satisfied all while you teaching your body to adopt new patterns of eating.

At Fuel Nutrition we also believe in rewarding yourself. We hope you couple our program with good food choices on the weekend, but treat yourself to healthy, whole food indulgences on that Saturday evening dinner out. We’re starting patterns and developing approaches for the long term, not creating a fragile diet that can be interrupted by healthy indulgences. Every change you make to improve your diet matters. You don’t have to be perfect and you don’t have to completely eliminate foods you enjoy to have a healthy diet. By applying simple nutrition principles and healthy substitutions you can find ways to make all foods enjoyable and delicious. The long term goal is to feel good, have more energy, and maintain a body you love.
